Why I Love Celebration, Florida — A Local Perspective From Jane LaFrance
A charming, storybook community just minutes from Disney — and one of my favorite places in Central Florida.
If you know me, you know I practically live and breathe Florida lifestyle communities. I’ve helped countless families, investors, and second-home buyers find their perfect spot near Disney — but Celebration has always held a special place in my heart.
There’s something magical about this town. It has that classic, small-town charm with a Disney touch — the kind of place where I can take a relaxing walk, enjoy a meal by the lake, or catch one of the many events happening throughout the year. Celebration is one of the few communities where I not only love helping clients — I genuinely love spending time here myself.

I love visiting during the mild-weather months — the outdoor markets, seasonal events, and that relaxed springtime atmosphere. The Great American Pie Festival is always fun, and the town feels full of life.
☀️ Summer Vibes
Fourth of July in Celebration is one of my favorites. The parade, the fireworks, the families filling the streets — it gives you that classic American holiday feeling. I enjoy the food trucks, the music, and the lakefront evenings.
🍂 Fall Feels Like a Movie Set
Celebration’s Oktoberfest is one of the events I look forward to the most. The falling “autumn leaves” on Market Street always make me smile — whimsical, welcoming, and the perfect way to step into the season.

When Celebration turns into a holiday village, I’m in my element.
“Now Snowing Nightly” is something I tell almost every buyer about — fake snow, carriage rides, ice skating, and lights everywhere. It’s that cozy, magical, small-town holiday atmosphere people dream about.
These events aren’t just marketing points for buyers — I personally enjoy them and recommend them to friends, family, and clients year after year.

I love food, and Celebration has some of the best local dining options around the Disney corridor. Whether I’m grabbing a relaxed lunch, meeting clients, or enjoying a date night with Alan, Celebration has the perfect spot.

• Columbia Restaurant – I never get tired of their Cuban-Spanish dishes
• Celebration Town Tavern – Great comfort food with a lively, friendly atmosphere
• Imperium Food & Wine – Perfect for wine lovers, charcuterie, and casual evenings
• Market Street Café – A classic spot I enjoy for breakfast or brunch
• Avocado Mexican Grill – Delicious and great for outdoor seating
• Kilwins – Because sometimes you need a scoop of ice cream or fresh fudge
And with Disney Springs just minutes away, it’s easy to hop over to Wine Bar George, Morimoto Asia, Homecomin’, or The Boathouse — some of my favorites to recommend to buyers.
🏰 Minutes From Disney — And You Truly Feel It
Another reason I love Celebration is its closeness to Disney.
Being able to leave a dining experience downtown and be at Disney Springs in five minutes — or Magic Kingdom in under 15 — is something you can’t put a price on.
There’s a sense of magic in the air, and sometimes you can even catch the faint sound of Disney fireworks in the distance. It never gets old, especially for out-of-state clients who dream of owning near the magic.
