Jane and I have been selling Real Estate next to Disney for over 20 years and people from all over the World own 2nd homes next to the mouse. Some people bought them to rent out to vacationers to make money, some have bought multiple homes from us for that reason and some bought them just to have a 2nd home for their use only. Resort homes serve purposes for both investors and 2nd home owners, they are guard gated 24/7, they have higher HOA dues but when the dues are broken down to what the resorts offer vs. non-resorts in most cases the dues are in line to regular costs you might pay outside a resort. Resort dues include cutting your grass, trimming your trees, security, clubhouse with amenities, cable TV, Internet, most have tennis, all the ones we recommend have fitness, at least 1 community pool, some have pool playgrounds, some have walking trails, some have tiki bars that serve food and drink but the biggest reason we offer our tour is because it’s educational for the 1st time 2nd home buyer. The guards at the gates won’t let you in unless you are a guest or an owner or an super popular almost famous #1 and #2 Real Estate agents near Disney like we are ( you probably know by now who is #1 ) So by seeing the resorts in person you may want to own in one or may prefer a non-resort, we are laid back when we do the tour so your questions will flow as we move from one to the next. We only ask for you to choose 5 of the 18 we recommend only because of time, 70% of the 18 offer the same amenities so if you see more than 5 resorts in 1 Day it will probably be a blur.
